What is the assessment for? Diagnosis or statementing?

I know how you feel but whatever happens, this is not the end of the line. Some professionals will see what they want to see, or what makes life easier for them, some will surprise you by spotting things you were not expecting.

Keep an open mind. The SLT may surprise you. If she doesn't, let battle commence! Even with a diagnosis and statement, this never ends and you are always watching your back. I'm not sure you ever get used to it, but you become 'acclimatised'.
