dd2pre-school has been very unco-operative with dd2 so far, despite them raising concerns about her. so i have no idea on what the outcome will be.

i just thought, they refused to sign the forms for me, so now they wont be happy about doing a report will they?

How do you know they contacted the school, did the DLA tell you?

misdee · 14/03/2006 09:27

i havew had a letter from DLA this morning. this week should've been the week we got s decision by according totheir deadlines. the letters says they are waiting for a report from the school and they are unable to give a decision till this is done.

I'd call the school misdee. Ask them if they've had the letter and would they like you to go through it with them.

chatee · 14/03/2006 09:58

I'd suggest helping them to write the report if it isn't already done(which going by their previous help-if you can call it that-)and then you know what is in the report....

macwoozy · 14/03/2006 10:42

I agree, I know it's not easy but you're going to have to talk to them about this report before they get round to sending it, would be ideal if they do allow you to help them.

buzylizy · 14/03/2006 10:47

could you not ask the SALT to do one as well

misdee · 14/03/2006 10:49

I have called the pre-school and let them know they will be needing to do a report. i will ask SALT if she can do a quick report on weds, and i'll send that off as well. DD2 is still on the waiting list for CDC multi disaplinery thingy, so do i let them know about that? she wasnt on the actual waiting list at the time, just being referred.

yes
let them know everything you possibly can
good luck

chatee · 14/03/2006 11:25

misdee,
when you go to collect your dd ask them for a short appointment in the next few days to discuss and write suggestions for the report together and then tell them you want a copy of the report by....(insert date)for your records just incase it goes missing in the post.At least then you 1. will have a copy should it go missing and 2. can put in a further report from yourself with the new information about waiting for cdc and anything you feel has been missed out by pre-school
hope that helps

misdee · 14/03/2006 11:35

dd2 wont be going again till monday. she usually goes on weds but has SALT again on weds.

oh gawd, what if they turn her down? she is on vallergan for her sleep porblems, oh i wish they werent contacting the school, i hope they are contacting the HV and GP as well, as they are very supportive and GP has it on list that she is on vallergan as well.

misdee,
i'd phone them and ask them if you can have a short meeting with them on monday after you pick her up(or any other day this week if you can get there?)and ask them to have noted down points that they might be raising in the report and you will do the same and help them produce the report....
good luck- i know how hard it is trying to get everything coordinated but it will be worth it in the long run........says she who has a list of things to do for dd including parental report for annual review, blue badge re application as it expires next month, dla forms as it expires in august, crb forms for ds' playgroup committee....oh and on top of that work AND you will have all that list plus another child and all your worry about peter....take care of yourself too xxxxxxx

misdee · 14/03/2006 15:03

i dont have time this week, SALT tomorrow, out thursday, taking peter out friday to uxbridge. then its the weekend, who knows what next week brings. had to phone pre-school back to ask them to do a report for CDC as well.
