ASD / Aspergers good recommendation for diagnosis specialist?

Hello :)

I missed the BBC4 Growing Children series on 13th August. A friend of mine needs a GOOD specialist recommended to her for a diagnosis for her son, who they are sure has aspergers. They saw someone in London who was pretty unhelpful with no bedside manner... Has anyone come across an organisation called Cutting Edge?? I think it may have been mentioned in the programme.

South London & Maudsley Hospital have a excellent Autism & Related Disorders Service. There is information about it on their website and she can request a second opinion from her GP who can do a referral online
