Phoned up to tell them that DS is also on meds to add on to their info and was told a decision has already been made so that was quick all in all 23 days.

He has been awarded HRC and LRM. Its odd feeling with everything else going on but its a good thing because now with the back dated bit I can buy him his laptop to put the school package on so he can do homework like everyone else :)

it's good news, now you can tick that box off and move onto the next thing?

well done though, i'm waiting for the 3rd form to arrive in post, 2 previous have expired due to operator exhaustion

Its hellish and depressing to fill in. Took me just over a year and I havent got the letter yet telling me of a renewal date but the hair is standing up on the back of my head at the thought of filling another one....x

the 2nd one i sort of finished with using the cerebra online guide, but now have got an appt with autism concern to fill in the new one, i know how much rides on the way you put things, how they look for certain phrases etc... thanks for the choc

Got a feeling our application will be strung out even though I sent the ed psych report stating they suspect ASD, and his IEP's and end of year report. Got paediatric appointment on 12th September and I keep thinking maybe I didn't write enough, maybe that's what normal 6 year olds do etc..... Sent it a week ago now so still too soon.

No he doesnt know he is going to have a laptop yet or he will expect it to be here exactly when I tell him. I will just tell him we are going out to buy headphones then tell him when I arrive in the shop to actually buy it :)

They are backdating it for the 23 days so that is 3 weeks so that will be enough to get it straight away just in time for school so I am really pleased about that.

zzzzz I downloaded mine and stored it on the computer, then printed it off when completed. It was dated downloaded Feb 2011 but was obviously still current to use x

I would download it and then you can do it bit by bit at ease :)
