Had to tell someone about this and knew you lot would understand.

Yesterday for first time ever, I was walking across the park towards DD and she saw me, pointed at me, then waved, for the first time ever.

She is nearly 6 so I have waited a long time for it and it was just really nice to be noticed and acknowledged. Have spent many years waving and shouting to her only to be blanked!

She has also been doing lots of eye contact and saying "love oo" which is really nice. (this is the child who a couple of years ago would not take me on at ALL)

She has, she has also even been bringing books to me, granted she just flaps around a bit at them but she is showing an interest :)

Lovely, Fanjo. Smile

I used to kneel down with my arms out as DS2 came running towards me. Without fail he would swerve to avoid me! It became a bit of a standing joke, I'm afraid! Grin Oh well.
