need to some advice and you we're the first 2 people to come to mind.

Currently taking driving lesson's with hope of passing by may / june time.

We currently get higher rate mobility for dd come may/june we'll have 10 months left on our reqard.

Do you think we'd be able to renew it early at all as i beliver you need 3 yrs on it to get a car?

As it seems silly to buy a car for 10months when we'd then have the mobilty car in the march.

Any advice greatly apreciated.

I have just had mine extended as we had to have 5yrs. Good idea to put it in now. Then you can use that.

ring the Dla people aske to have it extended. They will then look into it. Either do it straight away or send you forms to fill in.

can you re-apply for DLA earlier? youre dd cant walk can she? (cp? sorry my mind is all wonky today). if its very unlikely you will lose the high rate mobility when you reapply then ask if you can do it now. re-apply, then when you get the letter through stating your new award, go and order the car. i think you only need 2years now anyway.

mieow says you need a year, give them a call and they can reassess the mobility component.

i think you need to have 1yr of award left to order a car, they changed the rules last year.

you can order a car with one year remaining, but I would just get it extended tbh

So when i ring do i ask how i organise an extension on my mobility reward? even though i'm not looking to get my licence till may / june time?

ah yes, but you can insure anyone on the car Wink you dont have to be the driver you know. its for your dd, not you Wink

dont tell them you dont have your liscence yet.
