Funding approved - thanks everyone for your help!

Good news - DD funding to continue her 1hr a day 1-1 support at nursery has been agreed with immediate effect (and only took a few days to obtain, it's amazing what can be achieved when you start quoting legislation at them! )

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for all the advice you gave me!

My copy of the SEN code of practice arrived today & I was about to write the letter to the LEA based on IPSEA template.

We have a meeting with my LEA Ed Psych in a few weeks to review DD progress. We also have a really good pre-school that have a few 'specialist places' (where one of DD LEA SENCO works) that provide dedicated 1-1 care 5 mornings a week, so I've arranged a viewing there in the new term to see whether it is something we may want to consider when DD turns 3.

Do you think I should be writing to the LEA now, or wait unti we have seen the Ed Psych in a few weeks time?

I would get going with it now as these things take time!
