Still awaiting my decision on my renewal....nervously

FreshWest · 15/06/2012 19:32

Definitely worth perservering bizzey! The number of times I yelled out loud at the stupid bloomin' form, I lost count.
Really recommend the cerebra guide. It really spells out the best wording to use etc. Good Luck.

lisad123 · 15/06/2012 20:28

how long did it take? i have sent dd1 renwal and panicing about how long it will take.

LadySybildeChocolate · 15/06/2012 20:40

It's one of my jobs for next week. Ds fell down the stairs at school again today. Sad They turned him down last time, it didn't matter that he needs supervising when outside as he falls into the road. 'At least he can walk!' Hmm

Congratulations!

T3009 · 15/06/2012 22:21

Freshwest - sent my first one on Monday - how long did they take to respond> Th form is pretty daunting - took me forever to fill it in. Thanks

saladsandwich · 15/06/2012 22:46

if you dont mind me asking, where do you get the forms from, i dont have a printer so can't print anything off, also do i need to let other proffesionals know who see him... considering applying but just nervous

lisad123 · 15/06/2012 22:57

Ring dwp and ask for a form. You don't need to tell anyone but they will likely write to the proffessional you put on form.

ouryve · 15/06/2012 23:00

And if you ring up, your claim is backdated from the date your rang, so you have a few weeks to do it all.

saladsandwich · 15/06/2012 23:06

thanks, dont mind people being contacted just weren't sure if i had to tell them thanks i keep backing out of applying

FreshWest · 16/06/2012 15:42

Hi T3009,
Sent ours on 11th may and they backdated it to the 16th which was the Monday after.

If you ring up to ask for the form, they will put a date on the form to send it back by to get it backdated. I rang them in January and got the form with a date to send it back so you would get money fom date of phone call. We had other things going on so the form went on the back burner so missed a few payments but the 'return by this date' bit is just so you don't lose money. Don't worry if you miss that date, I put a covering letter in to explain delay you just get paid from the date they got it instead.
