DS2 is driving me mad. Repeat, repeat, repeat on MY Ipod so there is a tinny SAIKI background everywhere I go. It stops, he hits the back button. Plays it again.

Dd3 usually plays "Set fire the the rain" over and over but she discovered the Jubilee song by Gary Barlow on Saturday on You tube and has been obssessing over it all weekend.

Can you lose the Ipod for a while

I have booted Dd3 off the laptop so I can come on MN so all is quiet here at the moment

Ineedbunting the Gary Barlow song definitely trumps my 'Sexy and I Know It'. What a hideous song.

I could get the Ipod back if the little blighter didn't have it in a death grip everywhere he goes.

Dd2 shouted shut that racket up at 9am yesterday morning, she is 16 and doesnt do 9am in the holidays. LOL

I think I must be becoming immune to repetitive noises. I had hardly even noticed it.

You think that's bad, I've had "6 months in a leaking boat" by The Wiggles and Tim Finn on a two week continuous loop in my head!!

Ineedbunting I am also used to most of the repetitive noises. I had a family party yesterday. DS2 is a 'sniffer' but I barely notice it. Some of my relatives were climbing the walls after 10 minutes with him though.

DS loves listening to the radio and then echoing the odd line a lot lol,he run into his grandmas and shouted Whoooaaa my sex is on fire, grandma is quite an d fashioned dear and didn't know such songs existed lol(me I was laughing my head off)

It is totally inappropriate but my DS's also do the thrusty hip thing to the "I'm Sexy..." song. They are 7.

I must remember not to watch so much Music TV whilst they are here.

Ds has downloaded all the different musical interludes from his DS games onto his mp3 player and plays them through the speakers on his computer.

I am fairly sure I lost a large chunk of my sanity to Mario and his little plinky plonk tunes.

fortunately DS misheard the lyrics for Rude Boy as "giddy up" instead of "get it up". Bloody woman, why did she have to sing such a crude song?

I feel for all of us trapped in the mindless 'pop' music or Mario hell.

(There is a different hell especially reserved for The Wiggles).

We have the star wars theme music in our house, if it's not on one of the DVDs ds is watching then he's humming it. It's become the background to our life now, he hums different parts depending on what's goin on.

There is to be no escape, someone on education has posted a link to the sheet music and backing track for the sodding jubilee song.
