Good luck for Saturday!

macwoozy · 21/02/2006 08:15

It's a pain getting it on Saturday, because if you have to query it, you have got to wait till Monday, and that feels like a long 2 days. Good luck Misdee.

jbadgirl · 21/02/2006 21:53

We are also waiting for our letter, so I will keep you posted for saturdays!

coppertop · 21/02/2006 21:56

Fingers crossed for those Saturday letters.

buzylizy · 21/02/2006 22:09

sorry why saturday

coppertop · 21/02/2006 22:52

It's the now legendary Rule-of-Davros that certain groups/bodies send letters out on purpose so that they will arrive on a Saturday. The idea is that even if it's bad news and you're seriously p*ssed off you can't phone them to give them an earful until Monday. They hope that by the time Monday arrives you will have calmed down a bit.

I think every DLA and Tax Credits letter we've ever had has arrived on a Saturday morning.

buzylizy · 21/02/2006 22:57

that explains why letters from the taxman come on that day

misdee · 21/02/2006 23:01

i did have one arrive o na tuesday tho, so am waiting to see if the davros theory can be proved this time....

Any news on the letter?

misdee · 20/03/2006 16:08

Nope. i got one last week stating they were waiting for a report from dd2 pre-school. if they hadnt refused to sign the forms then they wouldnt have to do this report. but i have also phoned up DLA twice to keep them upto date with how things are here (Speech therepy and referral for CDC has gone through). so hopefulkly it wont be too long now. Am hoping she will retain her high rate care, and mobility would be an added bonus but i am sure she wont get it.

we got DD1 DLA throu, top care, low mobility on the grounds that DD (almost 12 Autism,LD, goes to special school)needs no more help when out and about somewhere familiar than a child without a disability! i mean FFS she knows where her school bus stop is, but she couldn't get there safely on her own, i phoned up the DLA who insist i take it to tribunial. why does everything have to be a battle for our kids.

jbadgirl · 26/03/2006 17:06

we got a letter through saying our claim is with the decision makers, fingers crossed.

jbadgirl · 02/04/2006 19:29

We now get middle rate which is fantastic.

misdee · 03/04/2006 17:58
