Today is day one, teacher training day.

I should be in Uni but the playscheme only runs next week, when there is no Uni (??)

Can I just say.....

HELP ME PLEASE!

Sam not impressed with change in routine, been responding badly to some bullying he is getting ats chool atm anyhow.

S/services have however said they'll take him in the long summer break on a playscheme.

Christie - I was just having a major guilt trip while reading your post as I seem to have done b*gger-all this half-term - but felt better after reading the last 2 lines.

That elusive "piece of quiet" never did show up. Ds2 was almost throttled when, 2 minutes before the taxi was due to arrive, I realised that the little terror had hidden my keys. Thankfully I found them (in a cardboard box) just in time. Phew!

Surprisingly ds2 was almost angelic during the scan. The poor sonographer was interrogated by ds1 about the scan and the equipment. No wonder it was all over in just a couple of minutes.

Thankfully there was an actual baby in there and not an elephant - although he/she apparently has such a chubby stomach that it was off the charts - a bit like me. The not-so-good news is that he/she is lying crosssways and I've been told that I may have to stay in hospital until the birth if the position doesn't change. Not good when we have no childcare whatsoever and dh is supposed to be working......

Half Term?.....Coping?........ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

oh coppertop What a nightmare. I know all about not having childcare I live in fear of getting ill and dh having to be at work. I do hope the bub decides to help you and turns.

Sparkler.. erm 'oh dear'.

Coppertop, well good news its NOT an elephant... and in theory... Surely if it came to, your DH would be able to take 'special leave' to care for the kids? maybe laying on your side when, and where ever possible would encourage bubs to move into a head down position?

How come in term time I have to wake ds for school (which makes me feel really guilty)and now it's half-term he's been waking up at 5am? Plus I have to keep getting up in the night because he has been falling out of bed!

This morning he managed to crash through the gate on his bedroom door, came running into our room and leapt on the bed which collapsed in a heap . Dh just said "I suppose this means we're getting up now". I've already got a lovely black and yellow bruise on my cheek because ds kicked my face! Oh and he had a total meltdown the other day because I wouldn't let him take his gameboy to the soft playcentre. He was lying on the pavement outside the house screaming hysterically, it took me ages to manhandle him into the car and he screamed all the way there. He cheered up when we arrived and I was just breathing a huge sigh of relief when Dh rang to say he was locked out of the house!

Hmm, What was the question again? Something about coping with half-term?!
