I'd be grateful for any advice on what I should ask at a forth-coming MDT review meeting.
Since her initial MDT appointment (for development delay), DD aged 3, has had OT & SALT appointments. The feedback has been that she has difficulties with communication and interaction, so I am pretty sure as to where there is heading. I work part-time, so on my days off and weekends I have been trying to implement the strategies in Hanen MTW. This has definitely helped, and I have just ordered Schramm. What worries me greatly though, is that today I have done a communication milestones checker on the TalkingPoint website, and I could only answer 2 questions out of 17 positively. I know this is only an indicator, but I had thought I had been realistic about DD's delays up to now - and it appears to be much more severe than I had hoped...
So, I know that I need to be prepared for the MDT review. I want to make sure that I ask the right questions - any suggestions would be gratefully received.
I know this sounds quite negative and I don't mean it to -DD is just amazing!
