Looking for some info on Muscular Distrophy

not sure if this is the best place to post this?

I own a small health shop and one of my customers has a 5 year old boy who has just been told he has muscular distrophy. I dont know all the details as they have been dealing with my husband so far.

Anyway the doctors have said they can do nothing for him at the moment, he is not on any medication as far as I know, or having any treatment.

They have asked us for help, anything herbal/food/vitamins/anything that will help him now or further down the line. We have very little info at work on this so I am having a look online but its hard trying to find good reliable advice, there is just so much to browse through its like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Sorry for rambling, I guess I not really sure what questions to ask, or what answers I'm looking for. Anything useful I could pass on to this family would be great.
Thanks

Gloworm, I've just found some details of alternative therapies on the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign site. Not sure if it's what you're after:

alternative remedies

thanks, I have just had a quick look and this is just what I'm looking for. At a glance it backs up 2 of the remedies I had been think off. will read it all later.

Anyone else have any suggestions on family-support style websites or inspiring stories I could pass on to this family?
