Blue Badge Protector from Gowrings Mobility
We are pleased to recommend a simple but effective protection system, which will help protect your Blue Badge from theft.
Over 6000 Blue Badges were reported stolen from cars in 2004. The loss of a Blue Badge means that you can face with a waiting time of up to six weeks for a replacement badge. You lock your Blue Badge into a steel case, which is protected by 5mm of thick clear plastic. The device is locked with a flexible steel cable, which you then attach to the steering wheel. The Blue Badge Protector is a visible deterrent to thieves.

Special Price
Single Blue Badge Protector - £15.99
Double Blue Badge Protector (holds one badge and a Time of Arrival parking disc) - £19.99

Thanks - I issue car badges so no doubt will have numerous calls about this ...at least I'll know what they are talking about and impress the boss

I've got one of these. Its so ugly and naff I chucked it in a cupboard!! Its just an ordinary padlock with a hose thingy that goes through a steel holder, you could make one yourself. Someone should come up with a much better one. LB Camden has just started issuing electronic residents' permits which have a barcode on, that should be the way for disabled badges, barcode on front and photo on back.
