Hi,
Can anyone help me, I'm sure the thing I need exists but don't know where to look.
I'm looking to get something for ds1 that will provide a fun way for him to practice gross motor imitation. He likes joining in with the Tree Fu Tom actions on the TV screen but they are a bit fast for him.
We don't have a wii or an xbox or anything but would get the extra hardware if it would help him.
I suppose I'm looking for a 'simon says' type activity I can do with him for 5-10 mins a day, it doesn't even have to be interactive so maybe a DVD would be fine. I'm recording Boogie Beebies to see if that fits the bill, but wondered if there were any other programmes out there?
TIA

Hi I have Just Dance 3 for my DS on the Wii. He loves it as he likes music and dancing around. It will be fast movements and slow movements there is also a sort of simon says/follow my leader type routine. DS cannot keep up with all the moves (niether can I!) but its not rated that way and he is never disapointed with himself. Something modern that you can join in on too and you get gold stars and cheers for performance which encourages DS no end! :)

I know that xbox has a kinnect thingy and it may be possible to play the game without the use of controllers if you buy it for xbox but you must check as I have never had one.

PS3 has eye camera with interactive games on them as in free ones like the fish tank where you sprinkle food and the fish feed or move your hands and they follow you. Other games like rescue bugs etc by scooping your hands and it looks like you are picking them up and placing them somewhere else. All good movement. I think xbox are doing the same sort of thing now too.
