Dla appeal at 3.30pm this afternoon

i applied back in May 95 and my appeal hearing is today.

I am sooooo nervous i cant eat or think straight at all its a good job my mentalhealth worker and the benefits lady is coming too.

Probably missed you but good luck Jenk.

I went to appeal for dd's DLA and it was a bit scary as I was by myself and, unusually, the DLA rep turned up. Thankfully he made an arse of himself in the first five minutes and the GP on the panel was very in touch with dd's problems. Result!

May 95 I meant May 05 !!!!!

Well i got there, went into the room and sat down and the chairman said that on the basis of medical evidence they were automatically awarding me low rate care and low rate mobility backdated to May 05, i didnt have to say anything!!!!!!
