If you have a disabled child with limited mobility and a newborn

We're hoping to have another child in the near future but there's a chance that dd will have to go into a wheel chair.

How would i get from A / B with a newborn and a child in a wheel chair / major i can't sling as i have trouble with my back already.

For the long journeys i'll fingers crossed be able to drive and dd can then walk say into my mum's house / school gate but if it's just the three of us wanting to go to the shops what do u do?

At weekend dh can push one so that's not a problem.

I surely can't be the only one to have this problem.

DD is nearly four but it about 100cm's high and about 38lb in weight so i don't think a double would fit?

any help aprecited as when i get these silly things into my head i end up talking myself out of it all - and we've finally got an appointment to see a fertlity specialist.

Reading this thread with great interest as now number 2 is on the way and no way dd will be walking for at least a year, and even then I suspect will still need a buggy a lot of the time. I'll use a sling at first but IIRC dd was too heavy to carry any distance after about 4 months.

Have been thinking about what I am going to do a lot!

We have a mountain buggy ranger which will take dd up until she is 11 years old.

We got it from:
