Good grief! From the moment he has woken up this morning, DS2 has been determined to wind everyone up. He was banging on the wall, refusing to cooperate with dressing, refusing to pick up the toys he spread all over his room. (He'll be taken back to his room after school today and he WILL pick them up. He won't like it, but he WILL do it.. or I will pack the damn things up in a bag and take them all away.)

He is constantly taking toys (and anything else) from his brother, he is currently wearing play clothing (inside out and backwards I might point out as he tried to dress himself) and refuses to cooperate with putting his uniform on. He keeps banging on constantly (and I mean without pausing for breath!) about places he wants to go - McDonalds, Ten pin, and so on. I just want to get him ready for blasted school already!!

This morning he has RDA riding, and he's insisting he doesn't want to go (which is usual lately, although he's fine once he's on the horse Hmm). He got into a tussle which started because he was bothering his brother and trying to take something from him, and his brother (2yo) got annoyed and scratched him. So then he's crying and screaming over that - cue me saying "well, if you'd left your brother alone, that wouldn't have happened!"

It's so aggravating when he's like this. Normally he's all over the place but not uncooperative this badly, IYSWIM. Add to that a wound up 2yo...

sigh... I want coffee... lots of it... and I can't have it until later this morning... (mainly because having a cup of hot liquid with 2 OTT children is asking for trouble - I don't want one of them trying to grab the cup, and I can't leave them alone in the room together)

Please tell me someone else is having a lovely morning so I can live vicariously through you..... Grin

Oh blimey you really have had a morning of it! Shock
Hopefully you've got a hot coffee in hand now??

My DS bangs on about not wanting to do stuff too and then is usually fine when he's doing it.

I think them playing up in the morning when you know you have to be out the door by x time is SOO stressful! And I'm pretty sure they know it is the little buggers!

I had to speak to DS's teacher this morning as a classmate had told him yesterday that him and his mummy and daddy were going to DIE. Sigh.

Brew there's some mornings when it's so nice to shut the front door and be left with just a wound up 2 year old Grin This morning is one of my precious ones as ds2 is at preschool so no one in the house but me! As dd3 was up a large chunk of the night I may just sit in my chair and drink tea instead of my usual charge round get everything done mornings [really need a sigh emoticon]

bored oh my! Hope your DS is okay!! DS2 would not have dealt with that well at all!!

ninja true.. at least with one you can relax a bit, as it's not like they'll fight with themselves, right? Grin although I've seen DS2 make a good attempt at it... Hmm

I'm doing a bit better now. I ran into a friend at the school and we took our little ones into town and did a little shopping and lunch. It definitely helped! Made me feel slightly normal again.

Until I picked up DS2 from school, and the chaos began again.... Grin
