Dietetic / Nutritional Software - has anyone tried this?

I'd like to type in DS1's (ASD) diet into a program which would then analyse the nutritional content, including vits, minerals etc.

Has anyone tried such software? Any recommendations? I've downloaded a couple, but they are US specific, full of brand names etc, and definitely more geared towards weight loss rather than nutritional health. They've also been rather incomprehensible to use (and I have good IT skills)

Perhaps I should post this in General Health...?

This is what I am looking for too! I am sure there must be an app somewhere that is for diets for children??
My DS has to be on a calorie controlled diet with low carbs, at the moment I am writing it all down and working it out!

Seeing a dietitian soon so will ask her.

Yes, DS1 has supposedly got a referral to a paediatric dietician, I am aware that they use software but presumably that'd be NHS software and not something I can surreptitiously download at home later!

From my own experience of NHS dieticians, I am not expecting much more than humming and hawing and being not much use though Hmm

Ideally this software would be very tailored to the individual, with inputs for height / weight / age / health issues etc - then it'd tell me any deficiencies in diet, and make recommendations accordingly.

I'll keep looking... and let you know if I see something good!

This would be fab for those of us who give our tube fed children blended real food. Keep us posted please. :)

I shall keep you all posted. Not sure how long the waiting list is for dieticians, I have paed with DS2 tomorrow though, and will ask there :-)
