Just got back from Ikea and got this for dd.
I got it for £15 in the sale and am so pleased as £40 was too much.
Bibic said I needed something like that to help with dd's "spinning". Dd came to Ikea with me and tried it out and loved it.
Real bargain I think!

Ooh thanks WWB - although I haven't got a hope in Hell of getting to an Ikea...ever!! lol They used to do really fab ones that were made from soft material that you could sit inside and swing - I reckon the kids would love hanging seats!!

Don't worry misdee- we have no room and over-exposre mught stop it being such a reward at school. Thanks for the offer though.

I want dp to get one for dd but I don't think he will go there just for that.

Munchkinola · 05/01/2006 19:42

It was £25 in my IKEA sale and only the white one was reduced.

Still a bargain tho and dd loves it

I want one! Have felt a visit to Ikea coming on for ages but have avoided it, now must go!

SleepyJess · 05/01/2006 19:59

Is the chair not a bit tippy?? Alex is 5.. average weight but very uncordinated and unstable. I think he would find it fun though. Does anyone know how stable it is?

Munchkinola · 05/01/2006 20:03

The base is weighted and fairly heavy so it seems to be pretty stable.

WigWamBam · 05/01/2006 22:03

It's very stable indeed, heavily weighted and very sturdy.

i got 2. but wembly are selling them for 29.90. i asked at cystomer services about the difference in price and she couldnt tell me why but wouldnt reduce them either. ah well, i tried.

ideally i'd like another, but not at 29.90

Got mine yesterday - £15 at Croydon Ikea (like BH said) Its the white one and ds2 thinks its wonderful. Ds1 (8 years also is rather partial to it and has squashed himself inside for a twirl! ) Dh not quite so happy - he had to assemble it and groaned at where we were going to put it. Worth it though when he saw our two boys having such fun with it! Thanks BH

So happy it all went well with the chair. Ds and his friend (also both 8) had a great time with it. Best £15 spent. Also they have put about 3 mongolian cushions in it so it looks like the Big Brother house chair .

Blossomhill - thank you so much. WE now have the chair and both ds and dd love it! Thanks!

Aloha · 08/01/2006 12:47

Blossomhill · 08/01/2006 12:47
