Ds2 just went to school for the first time, in the transport provided by the council for him

No more babies at home!

he did like the bus

actually it was a converted espace, he is the only child on the pick up, and they let me go with him this morning

he is part time until 1pm until next weds, then full time all the way

it will be weird, but good

his driver is called mike, he seemed pleasant enough, and he made sure he spoke to ds2 before me, and told him everything that was going to happen

i bet he is having a great time

ah bless him, lou, nice to see the driver talk to your ds first-it does so annoy me when people ask me the question when dd could so easily answer it herself......
hope he has a fab time at school
love to you all xx

He seems to have grown up so fast! I bet he's had a great time. I hope you enjoyed the break too.

MulledMerlot · 04/01/2006 12:43

Hope it went well

lou33 · 04/01/2006 12:45

he has grown up so quickly.

today is only saddened by the fact that yesterday he was having a conversation with his brother about being disabled, and then turned to me and asked if he would stop being disabled when he was 5.

LIZS · 04/01/2006 13:13

are you watching at the window for him ?

lou33 · 04/01/2006 13:35

He's back

He had a great time he said, and did "lots of things", and sat next to someone called HArry for his lunch.

He does look tired, maybe i can persuade him to have a nap with me!

Pleased to hear it went well. Seems like ages ago you were telling us he couldn't start in Sept and had to wait until Jan, can't believe its here. Having good transport staff is so great. Most of ours have been brilliant but we've had one or two duds! If they're no good they don't usually stay, its not the job for them. The ones who do it long term love it and love the kids.
