Hi,

i have had a happy moment today!!!!!!

I went to see dylan at his special school performing in his first ever xmas play.

He was a shepard and looked so adorable.

It was a wonderful experience and all the kids were absolutely fantastic!!!!!!

When he came in with a full shepards costume on i couldnt help but cry!!!!!!! He even managed to walk round with the aid of his support teacher of which they thought he wouldn't do with so many people there!!!!!!!

Well there we go, my happy day!!!!!!!!!

That's great Butty Don't you just find these nativity plays can be so emotional, I can hardly bear it. My ds was also a shepherd today and after his one line, I started to cry. He had help from his 1-1 but I was still dead proud. Another little girl started crying whilst up on stage, I turned round and spotted her poor mum crying herself. There's going to be lots of blubbering in many schools this week

At ds1's nativity play last year a thoughtful (or experienced ) person kindly had a box of tissues being passed up and down the rows of parents. The box was empty by the end of the play.
