right i have taken davros advice and have now done a discussion group on yahoo.co.uk

We are in the health and well being section under the care giving category in support groups.

Group name is GDD and Hypotonia.

Hope some of you will register and please feel free to add stories and change anything you want as is open to all members.!!!!!!!!!

I know its a mouthful, but if you add it to your favourites it will be easier to go to.

i have now changed the group settings to DISABLED in the SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILY SECTION.

Couldnt find it before, was being a bit thick again happening too much at the mo.

if you are around, please can you help with the blody stupid chat section on our group, cant seem to get it working!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have clicked on installation but it is a total nightmare.

We now have 4 members!!!!!!!!!

Please any one feel free to join!!!!!!!!!!

Will have a go at uploading files over the weekend and try and sort the our stories section if i can figure the damn thing out.

Oh dear, I'm short of time now as leaving at 3pm to collect DS and go trampolining I'll email you my phone number, it might be better to sort it out on the phone with our computers open. The thing about the so-called Chat section is that it isn't chat like on here. People send one email to the group address and that goes to all members, in your case 4 at the moment but, as I said, I used to moderate one that had 700 members! So you can see the benefit. Another difference is that it isn't necessarily anonymous althoug, as list owner you can allow email addresses not to be shown. Personally I prefer everyone to know who everyone else is as it is members only. That's another benefit, it can't be accessed by anyone and everyone and people browsing the internet who want advice/info and then just disappear (tourists!). Can we speak on Monday morning? I'll email you now. Or you could ask specific questions here and I will probably pop in here over the weekend when I get a chance. HTH.

sorry its taken so long to get back to you, i have been having problems with my PC all weekend, although i have now finally managed to fix the problem.
