Can't get DS to leave the house. So it looks as if his overnight respite isn't happening!! I am a wreck physically and mentally!!

Ohhhh. Bloody hell. :(

I take it no one can look after him so that you can leave the house?

Oh no that's awful. When are you meant to have it?

Is there noone at all that can make him go?

Hi. Would whoever is doing the Overnight Respite be prepared to do the respite in Your Home? That way, ds is still in familiar surroundings and you can "escape" for the night.Could you sleep at a friends house?

He was meant to be there last night and tonight. DH and I were booked into an expensive themed hotel last night for his birthday. However my dad stepped in and ds slepf between him and my mam last night. With an early morning phone call to say hurry home we are knackered lol, so at least we still got to go.
We took ds to the park the respite centre were at in hopes he would end up on there bus but no such luck. We need to work out another strategy to get him there. Or as bigpants says change the way respite happens.
