Well it was good. Less practical use than a workshop (but very useful for my future dissertation). Spent too much - am a complete sucker for materials (but not as much as jakB ) Got to meet Davros and JakB as well so worth it for that.

Yeah, was lovely to meet you and Davros (who 'pulled' a few blokes trying to locate baka and her husband, particularly one dishy chap from Belgium!). I did go mad with materials etc. I agree it wasn't as practical as the workshop but useful nonetheless. Going to pass on the notes to DD's teacher. A good couple of days

mizmiz, do you want me to photograph the presentation notes and send them to you?!

JakB,that would be so kind of you!

I would have gone but was abroad.

Can I cat you with my address?

Thanks so much!!

I'm just a wimp. I only managed to go to Day One I still think it was worth it as, apart from meeting JakB and Baka, it gave me a kick up the arse on the PECs front. AND, of course, I bought a few items too. Some of the presentations I saw were good and one was dire (just the delivery, not the content). On Day Two I was lured away by the prospect of a Full English at Kenwood with DH and DD followed by rugby and football again!
