After much messing about the LEA have finally confirmed today that ds has a place at our fab local special school from September. I really thought we were going to have to continue fighting, it's such a relief!!!!
DS is 3 and will be starting in the nursery but he could stay there until 19 if his level of learning disabilaty remains the same. The school is fab and less than a mile away at the other end of the village, we've visited a few times and ds loved it - he even said "splash" when he saw the swimming pool.
