SEN childcare in exchange for accommodation?

Hi, I'm looking into trying to find some evening and/or weekend childcare in exchange for accommodation but don't really know where to start! I'm going to be starting an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy in September but won't be able to do this unless I find a way round expensive London rent... I have lots of experience of working with children with SEN (especially autism spectrum conditions) so I think it would be mutually beneficial. As parents, do you think that this sounds like a feasible idea? If so, any ideas of where it may be good to advertise this sort of arrangement?

Thanks! Daisy

Sounds a great idea but sadly I'm not local. You can try gumtree.

Agree. Sounds like a great idea and for a family with an SN child and the space would be ideal.

I'm not local either but have you thought about trying to make contact with local SureStart centres in the area where you''d like to live. They may have some ideas, ditto local SN preschools or SN schools in the area?

And posting here should be a good start too I'd have thought. Good luck with your search.
