I realised that I had not answered your question about Mary Hopton-Smith who runs an ABA service provider in NI, I expect you already know about it, here is the link:

I mentioned Mary on MN a while ago, just because I saw her organisation's prescence at the recent NAS Internatinal Conference. I don't know her really, I know who she is and have met her. She trained and worked for LEAP (London Early Autism Project) which was an offshoot of the Wisconsin Early Autism Project which is a replication site for the Lovaas research. LEAP closed recently and, although it got a lot of bad mouthing, we used them for our home prog and had an excellent experience (I know we were luckier than some though). Hope this info is of use.

Hi Davros, been off line for a while. I will look up Hopton Smith. What was the bad mouthing for?? My provider has decided to move to the U.S. in six months and i need someone new. Maybe i will give them a ring. are they in Belfast or dublin? (Never mind will look it up)

I just want someone who is going to stick with it and not leave us in the lurch. I finally managed to get some volunteers as therapists but am still paying through the nose for my established therapists. Got to get funding and soon!!
