My ds who has apergers (in what seems to be an ever increasingly obvious asperger symptom load!!!), has a bit of an obsession with a classmate.
He has been experiencing intense feelings towards a girl, usually spends free time 'watching' her (his statement). She is very friendly towards him, doesn't seem bothered by the attention.
Its bothering him to the extent that he asks me if he is the same height as her, then is it ok to kiss her? I said that until he was 16, that it wouldn't be ok to kiss anyone. Being a super rule follower, he said ok, but was sad.
He seems genuinely smitten with this girl. It is very similar to the obsessions he gets with Super Mario, etc.
Any experienced Aspie mums out there willing to hold my hand?
