My ds (ASD 5) has started to seperate himself into good 'J' and naughty 'J'. When he's had a meltdown or not done as he's told it was naughty 'J', after he comes and says naughty 'J's' gone and good 'J' is back. On the one hand he knows what is right and wrong but on the other is he seperating himself from the consequences IYSWIM (you can't reprimand good 'J'). I can't decide whether to encourage it or try and stop it. Any ideas would be appreciated.
