Just been for Graces Parents Evening, Teacher is very pleased with her.

She was 4 on Aug 31st and started School, full time the next day!! She said that they is a group of children who were born in June/July but Grace isn't in that group. She said she was quietly confident and had lots of Friends

Was really nice to hear as I worry a bit as Ellie takes a lot of our timebut it has obviously helped her to be the little independent girl she is!

Anyway (sorry, wasn't meant to waffle about all that!! But am Very proud of her !!) Ellie goes for session a week with a helper from her SN School and apparently the Children all really love her. They all want to sit with her on the day she goes!!

And......all the older Children in the School really love her and are excited the day she goes!!

I am so pleased. Some of you may remember how worried I was whether the others would like her or not

Hopefully after Christmas she will go for a full day

Hi Anniebear - that is so fantastic to hear

It was only the other day I was wondering how your two girls were getting on at school. I haven't been around on the SN board for a while - completely caught up with all sorts of other things - but I've really missed keeping up to date with everyone.

Dds start to her school career has unfortunately not got off to a very good start - but that's a whole other thread.....!

anniebear · 18/10/2005 16:03

Oh no

Have you started a thread on it?

I didn't mean Oh no, that you may have started a thread on it!!!

Meant that your Dd's start to School hasn't been too good!

No wonder you are proud anniebear - it sounds like both girls are settling in at school beautifully - hope you have gotten over the feeling guilty for enjoying time without them now

anniebear · 18/10/2005 21:15

Guilt? Me?.....was I ever feeling guilty??!!!!
