Coping With...
17/10/2005
This week we meet Ben Adkins and his family from Rugby. Ben was born with Down?s Syndrome, a genetic condition which is caused by the presence of an extra chromosome. Because of his condition Ben finds it very hard to communicate with his family and friends. Louise and Paul (Ben?s parents) talk openly and honestly about what it is like to have a child with Down?s Syndrome and how they cope with daily life.
