sorry pmm my asd son six who I often post on here about went to a birthday party today , it was on where parents didnt attend and he was fine , also I was grateful to the birthday childs mum for inviting my boy so a good day

Such a little thing, but so important. I love it when they do something so 'normal.' You need a few sympathetic other mums. My DS had a sleepover with one lovely family. I think I was more pleased than he was!Blush

Thaks everyone Ellen you are so right to most people going to a party is normal for my son it was a huge achievement, well done to your ds for the sleepover, by the way the mum hosting the party is training to be a social worker and i think she will be a very good one.
