Family Support Worker/SENCO as a career

Since I have been on a journey of having a child diagnosed with ASD, I have started to think I would like a career around ASD, SENCO etc.

Does anyone know any good courses or where I could find out about any?

Well, for a start, to be a school SENCO you have to be a Qualified Teacher. However, there isn't that requirement for Early Years SENCOs in Pre-schools/Nurseries.

Family Support Work anywhere is likely to give you some contact with ASD, because the dx is so prevelant. NAS is a good place to look.

You could check out the OU for courses... see what is around.
