how many hours of sen needed to ask for ss

how many hours needed of sen b4 they agree to a special school my sons draft says he needs 25hrs, i can obviously push for more as he needs help at break and lucnh times as this is often when he needs watching more as unstructured

I don't think the criteria to get into a special school is based around how many hours 1:1 is in his statement.

Parent partnership will probably know what the entry criteria are for the special schools in your area.

Trouble is, the schools will almost certainly be full.....
