DD invited to her first party!! - I'm so excited...

...when dd was first born I read a post on here about a poor women who was heartbroken that their dc was never invited to parties and it really affected me. I became really worried that the same would happen to my dd too, as she is the only SN child in any of her play groups. In fact I got so paranoid about it that in my more crazy moments I convinced myself that I needed to learn to bake so that the NT in the village would want to come to her parties(even though my sister kept on telling me I was being crazy & it's all about the gift bag now anyway! Wink).

I'm therefore ridiculously pleased that dd has just received her first party invite, now I just need to 'dial down the crazy' enough so that i don't scare the other parents off from inviting her to their dc parties too... Wink

That is fantastic Grin so pleased for you and her.

DD#1 has had 2 invites in 2 days which is totally amazing given she hardly ever gets invited to parties (in contrast I am almost fed up for the number DD#2 gets!) It's a good feeling so enjoy it.
