Question for those with children still in nappies at school

DD who is 3 has GDD and is being assessed for ADS. He will be starting nursery at the mainstream primary school in a few weeks with 1 to 1 support until a place is available at a local special school. He is still in nappies - do I supply them to the school or does school have to arrange, what do you do??

I supply nappies, wipes and nappy sacks. School supply the changing mats, rubber gloves, aprons, antibac stuff for cleaning etc.

I supply nappies and wipes - but it's special school so they have supplies of gloves and cleaning stuff anyway. Each child has a storage space in the bathroom so that I can send stuff in by the packet (and they tell me when it is running low) which is much easier - at nursery (in MS school) I had to send in every day.

I send in nappies a pack at a time and they let me know when they want more.

I think you would have to check with nursery- ds is at SS,so I send in a box of nappies at a time and wipes,but they have gloves etc.- nursery would certainly need nappies and wipes,but may need the other stuff too- also do they have space to store nappies or would they want you to send in each day ?

Definitely send in nappies and wipes. I also send in spare "bottom half" clothes in case of leakages, although i know that the MS primary my DS goes to has a spares cupboard.
I think the schools supply gloves etc as it is H&S for their staff so as not to pick up nasty bugs.

Never underestimate how many wipes school will get through!

i send in nappies, and school let me know when they need more. also send spare clothing cos ds often wets through.

I send in nappies, wipes, and a bottle of anti-bac gel for times they are out and about.
