Go back to being respectful?
TBH I have been quite shocked how nasty, bitchy and how much back stabbing has been done this week in SN worlds!
We don't all agree and that's fine And no kne likes everyone and that's fine too. BUT we have always supported each other and understood the battles we all face in our life with our precious families and been there to hold each other up.
So please can we just treat each other with respect, we damn well don't get it anywhere else and try to stop the hair pulling and put the claws away?

If not I will come and see you all and bang your heads together! :)

Well, all this weeks plans have gone to pot. DD developed a nasty cough yesterday and has a temp today so not worth sending her to nursery for them to send her back home, so it's PJ's and cbeebies day.

Was going to finish of decorating her bedroom but that will have to wait.

Fingers crossed she will be better for Wednesday as she has just started a term of Horse Riding with Riding For The Disabled via the Nursery and i was hoping to go and watch her :(

Hope she's feeling better in time for her horse-riding beldaran and good on the nursery for arranging it. I have seen very good things happen to children through RDA.

Now people please humour me on this one.

I just looked on the BBC homepage and am getting more convinced that I have a problem with face recognition. Is it really David Essex?

beldaran, hope she improves quickly.

I was going to say the same as slightlycrumpled, haven't had one of those in years, they were my mums favourite at one point Smile Good luck with the review.

no appointments this week, BUT dd3 has cracked the casing on her hearing aid so can't use her radio aid and of course I've been trying to get through to a real person at audiology since thursday [arghhh]

I don't get why people correct others spelling on here, apart from anything else, you can't go back and change it!

no it's really him, but blimey he's aged!

beldaran · 24/01/2011 11:38

Thanks...she seems better than yesterday so hoping it's a 48 hour viral thing. Quite happy with her Happyland stuff and Cbeebies.

I was quite nervous at first of her going as she didn't really like horses but she came back so happy that we might have to look at doing it privately afterwards.

Should say that the Nursery is a Special Needs one, so they do all of this as standard for all the children and the improvement in the children is amazing.

Ooh bigcar, I think we must be leading parallel lives! Ds2 also has broken the casing on his hearing aid (first time in nearly 4 years!) cannot get through to anyone . he's currently only wearing one aid which he hates. Hope you get sorted.

bigcar · 24/01/2011 12:25

haha I think we must be, although dd3 only wears the one, no hearing at all the other side, she's had this aid for over 3 years! Finally got through to the charmless receptionist who huffily told me they'll ring when they've a spare sorted, I left a message on thursday, would have been nice if they'd have let me know Hmm This means she's been in school 3 days without her radio aid as the shoe won't go on [arghhh] I don't think they get it, it takes 5 minutes to program a spare! Hope you have better luck with yours Smile

Hi beldaran my daughter went horse riding at rda and it was amazing to watch her she went from a child who is usually totally surrounded by equipment to one who sat up with only two people either side holding a thigh each.It was amazing. She also built up a special relationship with her horse ingrid who was always very persistant about going over to my dd to say goodbye at the end of the session.
