you really made me and DH smile

signandsmile · 20/01/2011 08:05

thought it was great news, also liked the fact he was stopped from presenting an award at the comedy awards. I think the fact the advertisers withdrew will really make channel 4 think more carefully... (I hope!)

nymphadora · 20/01/2011 08:29

YAY!

Saw him on Buzzcocks last week & had to turn off as he was quite offensive there & the BBC usually censor his jokes.

Kesha321 · 20/01/2011 08:50

I was watching on the night he said that about Harvey,I could NOT believe he actually went there!!! About a kid, didn't hear the racist jokes he made but if they were as bad as the Harvey "joke" then I wouldn't want to,bet he feels well embarrassed now kinda like when you say a joke and no one finds it funny, but on a larger scale...frankie..HA!!!!! Grin

I went to see Frankie Boyle last year - I was so shocked that I actually cried during the show. None of us ( a group of 10) would ever pay to see him again - Harvey and cancer jokes abounded.

I unfortunately caught a clip of Tramadol Nights a while back ( adult suggesting male prisoner put perfume on a child to get him into the mood to have sex with her!). Are none of the comedy circuit personas able to break it to him that really (sometimes) his sense of humour is just below the belt?

smashingtime · 20/01/2011 21:32

Excellent news - good riddance he is repulsive!

ilythia · 20/01/2011 21:39
