Chance to see facilities at college for young people with Autism

Farleigh Further Education College in Frome is inviting young people with autistic spectrum conditions, their parents and professionals who work with young people with autism to attend to celebrate the anniversary and the ongoing development of further education services on Tuesday 25th January 2011 from 10am to 1pm.

The day will provide guests with the opportunity to hear from current and former students of the colleges, view the education and care facilities, meet the experienced team and discuss how the colleges can meet perspective attendee?s current and future needs.

Farleigh Further Education College Frome, Farleigh Further Education College Swindon and Priory Coleg Wales in Pontypool are all independent specialist residential colleges for learners aged 16 to 25 with Asperger's Syndrome and associated disorders. The first college in Frome was established in 2000 to meet the needs of young people with Asperger's Syndrome and Priory Further Education Services have expanded to accommodate a wider geographical area and promote a positive understanding of autistic spectrum conditions.

My son went to your College. He's now in 3rd year at Uni.

More children deserve the opportunity you gave him.
