Has anyone used Edenside Clinic for Speech Therapy

I am looking to have DD's speech and language assessed and generally get some advice on how I can help her with her expressive language. Has anyone had any experience of Say and Play at Edenside Clinic in Great Bookham Surrey??

We used them for our DD's assessment around 18 months as she was non-verbal and not very engaged with us. We personally did not like them. The assessment was meant to be for 90 minutes and were done about 25 minutes early and were sent a small report and told our dd would benefit from being in a group class. Plus their hours weren't really helpful to us at the time as they don't work weekends.

Having said this i've read parents who rave about this place but it just wasn't our experience.

We used www.SLTSLimited.com in Chobham, loved the paed SALT, she was brilliant, got our non-verbal daughter to speak her first few words in less than 3 sessions.

I can also recommend Gina Davis from Attention Autism, she is a brilliant SALT and does home visits and assessments. She also does parent workshops which are brilliant and will teach excellent methods like Intensive Interaction to parents. I went to one workshop, it was £50 for a whole day and worth every penny.

Thanks so much for that Eloise. I have heard of Gina Davis she did some some workshops in our area last year but unfortunately I could not attend them as they clashed with DD's speech group. I could kick myself now I should have prioritized better
