Any recommended specialist dyslexia schools/tutors in Scotland/anywhere?

Me and DH want to 'run away' for a year - I can work from anywhere and DH can take a sabbatical. Until recently the idea seemed a bit random and self-indulgent but Ds was recently assessed as severely dyslexic and the support at his school has been pretty minimal - over stretched learning support and loads of kids competing for very limited resources. Ds's confidence is crumbling fast and it's horrible to watch him struggling. The best option for now seems to be to get him tutoring privately - which we can just about afford to do if I keep getting work (freelance). Unfortunately our nearest dyslexia centre is 50 miles away, they have no 'after-school' places so we'd need to pull ds out of school for 4-5 hours a week in order to attend - not ideal.

Tonight we hit on the plan of combining 'running away' with getting ds the help he needs ie we could temporarily relocate to a place which has either a good local dyslexia centre or a school with a good track record in this area (would also consider a specialist school if necessary for a year or so but couldn't afford one long-term).

Have had a good look on several school sites but wondered if anyone had any positive experiences of either a good dyslexia school or tutor. Ideally in Scotland (near relatives) but could be anywhere in the country.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
