Oh delightfully dd shared the flu thing... I still feel awful but I have actually managed to get out of bed today and dh has gone to work! ( litterally been in bed since Saturday !).

I haven't eaten since Saturday .. I need a quick and very easy booster... ( I don't even have fruit in the house at this moment.. But ds1 is about to run to the shop for me)..

Got lots and lots to do for Xmas and people coming over.. But it can wait until tomorrow when dh is then on holiday.. Ds1 can help out.. Etc..

So quick easy eat ( because it's a queasy flu).. Booster food ideas... Please :)

not really SN I know.. But you lot will have loads of great ideas to get me back on my feet :)

Get some anti sickness tablets over the counter at chemist eg stemetil, motillium to stop you feeling sick in the first place. Nausea is v common post flu. Often best to go for high carb foods, pasta, bread, porridge to start with. If you can face a fruit smoothie of milk shake thats easily digestible.

Thank you.. Have text dh to see if he can grab some anti sick stuff... And ds is back with fruit and White bread.

I have just queitly exploded at ds2 who is being really verbally agressive and forcing his opinions on the whole house and stomping about not letting anyone have any peace.
Just going to throw a DVD on for the dc's and flump on the sofa!
Oh and I weighed myself..... I have lost a whole stone!... In just less than a week...! So I'm hoping I can off set that when I feel a bit better :)

I can see a guilt free, stuffing face Christmas in the arsenic household!

TheArsenicCupCake · 23/12/2010 22:01

:) soon as I feel up to face stuffing :)

well managed the day.. And sort of nibbled on banana sarnies little and often... Dh and I have gone through the last of the Xmas foldy shop list and he's going out at silly o'clock in the morning. ( do I trust dh?.. It could be a weird shop that comes back lol)

and then I have to pop out when he gets back to go pick up his pressy.. As I just couldn't get out of the house this week.. So I'm hoping the shop has actually put it aside for me so I can just scoot in and grab it.

And I have remembered a whole load of stuff that I was going to do.. But now it doesn't seem so important!

Glad you're feeling better. Me and DH had the flu last week and were terrible parents as we couldnlt get out of bed.

The first thing I ate afterwards was char sui noodles from the local Chinese, really made me feel better Grin
