Just found out that we've been granted DLA. I finally got round to getting the darn form off, which had been sitting on my sideboard for ages! Had a huge glass of wine, `went for it' and found all the pointers and tips on here hugely useful.

Couldnt have done it without you - so many thanks.

Am going to apply for Carer's allowance now - hope that form is easier!!

brill carers is much easier to fill in, takes about 5 minutes

Thats great about the DLA. I agree the carers form is a breeze comapared to the DLA one. I did it online as well.
