Not loking forward to it at all.

DD wouldn't go yesterday and is having a massive rant today and won't go. When I pointed out she was anxious about this meeting it made her worse and is now throwing things.

I can't get anything constructive out of her. she just shouts and swears and says she hates it and she feels sick. she will not give anything at all in the way of trying to make things better.

I was supposed to get her to come up with 3 things that might make school easier for her by this meeting but all she will say is she hates it and won't go.

oh no Sad
She'sobviously really anxious and if she does have AS she won't be able to explain what it is that's making her feel this way, so asking her to come up with targets is extra pressure I reckon. You go and choose them for her. What have school done to help her?

i'm back. mother has raging chest infection.

Meeting was with nice parent support advisor. the head of year and parent liaison teacher didn't bother to come (don't kow why I was surprised at that).

she went through background specifics and suggested a few things. She wants DD to get referred back to CAMHS (again) and the school counsellor. Also has cleared it that D doesn't have to go to assembly if it is a problem. She's also going to inform the EWO informally and wonders whether a CAF would be helpful.

I've told DD all this, who has gone off in one at the thought of her form tutor knowing she's struggling.

I have to work up the strength to phone CAMHS again later.

You're right corny- she can't say what the problem is at all, or what will make it better.

It really doesn't sound as though the school are doing much. What do you think about their response?
