Frankie Boyle thing - Complain to sponsor?

Did any of you watch this and was it sponsored by Fosters? Channel 4 don't seem to be paying attention and when I saw a snippet on 4 on demand it looked as though the programme is part of a Fosters Sponsor Comedy on 4 and looked like a big advertising contract. Wonder whether we would have more success complaining to Fosters (if they were the main sponsor).

Is is true here that the joke is on the DVD?? Maybe we could get retailers to pull it???

Anyone know how would complain to advertiser???

I was wondering whether there was an....'addition' I could make to his DVD's while browsing for Christmas presents in HMV. Still thinking...

Ah very good idea. That would hit them all where it hurts. The main thing would be to complain to the company itself, mind you they will be seeing all the bad publicity (eg in today's Times) and hating it. They will not sponsor Frankie boy again!

Also complaints to ofcom and to channel four direct, (you may have already done that).

Would be really interested to know if it is on DVD..... (hatches all sorts of evil plans!!!)

There is an absolutely massive thread on this in Active. It has now got onto the Catholic versus muslim debate! Have complained to Ch4 and Ofcom, but the more of us do so, the better. I think we might have a Jonathan Ross/Russell Brand situation. V nice piece in the Times today, saying how Ch 4 and Frankie have lost their minds if they think this "joke" is ok/legal.

I've complained to Ofcom and also Channel 4.
