So ds has had revised Final Statement since 4th November. He's in a special school, but still don't have the staff to put it in place. Everyone said it would take time to sort out as PT, OT and SALT have to be bought in and 1:1 appointed. Fair enough.
Two weeks in started asking when .... ?
Ds then off for two weeks with flu.
Got letter in today's second post attaching a copy of a letter from the head of therapy at ds's school basically saying the statement is a result of a series of private therapists who have a financial interest in ds receiving therapy. (They don't were all independent. Have other private therapists who ds has seen since 18 months. Now almost 4.) Letter says he's getting plenty of therapy as part of his day as he requires. (Is bullshit.)
Letter asks for our views on this.
Gut feeling is this is nonsense and they should be fulfilling the statement.
Anyone else got a view. Have a feeling will be stressing over this all weekend.
Felt like a massive weight had gone when statement was agreed. (Took 14 months of crappiness.) Can't believe we're on round two. :(
