Ds has his annual review today and the Ot report states that she feels that the visits should be redeuced from half term to termley now. After all the fighting i had to get it in his staement shes now gone and messed it up

Ds does have a program , and yes still has problems with wiping his own bum , holding a pen, waiting on seating she ordered for school as needs more support .Isstarting to try use cultery etc.

School are good do his program and Ot are going into see how to look at ways of ds getting into the school transport at the moment he is being lifted in and out the bus .

OT refusing atm to look at computers for use still wants try writing.Ds can now draw a wobbly line and wobbly circle , He is year 1

Im unsure on how i feel about OT cutting it back, would rather keep it in his statement but maybe switch some of the visits to phonecalls

from what you've said,it will still be in his statement-It's quite common for therapists to oversee the programme, but have the daily work done by school staff(at least in SN schools)well done for getting the imput,my ds is seeing an OT this week for the first time in a couple of years and he really needs it too!I wouldn't worry too much about it being termly as long as you're sure the staff will do the work and I'm sure you would be able to phone the OT if you needed to

this is statement review .Am worried that Lea might use as a exscuse to pull it totally atm the Ot is contactable by phone but she is looking at leaving and dont know a if were get another one and B there be so open to phonecalls .Report only arrived yesterday review today so not time to even discuss with the school

Sorry;didn't pick up on the review bit-If the OT has said he needs to be reviewed termly, she is still saying that ds needs OT and the programme- No it's not ideal, but hold your ground and good luck.

refuse to accept the report for review as all parties at the review should have all documents 14 days prior to be able to read and digest the information, it is in the SEN cop book

and don't allow them to put it in part 6

good luck am in the same situation x

well looks like the Ot is staying in school want to keep it to.What we have said is that we are happy for it be redeuced down to 3 physical visits and 3 email/phonecalls with understanding that these may be increased as needed or switched to physicla visits

as school are very good and proactive .ot is rewording her report today to send to Lea poor Ot thought that there be no problem with amount of phone/emails etc but yes she is more than happy as many calls emails as needed.I am aware that if she leaves we might not get a ot like that
