Ooh aah! Slipped on ice,flat onto my back. Have hurt wrist,elbow and back. Luckily I was carrying a back pack or my head would have hit the road too. The soft loaf of bread in it cushioned my fall Grin.

You mean you can still buy bread where you live.?? Shock.

Here it's gone within minutes of the delivery. I'm going to see if I can buy flour and yeast tomorrow to make my own!

Thanks all. Am feeling the after-effects today - aching all over and walking like I've pooped myself!
Luckily school is shut again so hoping to have a restful day or as restful as poss. with ds about Grin

PLEASE be careful with all this ice. My DH broke his ankle badly years ago slipping on ice - had to have metal plate and wiring put in to hold it in place! And my father slipped on the ice two years ago and fractured his skull - he is now in a nursing home as the damage was irreparable and he has never been the same since - either mentally or physically. That ice is so dangerous...
