DS2 just sat through a classical music concert!!

DS2 (5) has been going through a really bad patch at school, with him twice having been sent home from school this past week, because he was viewed as a hazard to other children. You know the kind of thing, biting, throwing scissors, throwing himself on the floor, etc.

Anyway, he really, really loves music and mum spotted a reasonably priced concert at the city hall. WE phoned and told them the kind of disruption that might occur, but they were kindly insistent that we give it a go and provided seats near the exit.

DH and DS2 have just arrived back (11pm), and he was an angel throughout, giving the music rapt attention! He came in saying, "music 'morrow".

That's great chocolatespread, it's worth trying things sometimes.

Ds loves classical music.. He sees pretty colours and patterns when it plays :)

That's great news glad your DS enjoyed the concert - I haved booked DD's first theatre outing next month and am very nervous!

He he, Starlight, I'm trying not to view the idea of a 'wise EP' as an oxymoron . But, she's right. And, yes, Eveiebaby, you're right - I can honestly hardly contain myself over it. Very, very pleased. More concerts coming up!

Music itself is therapy; a Music Therapist is just trained to give it a specific structure and use it as a tool to achieve certain things.

So so thrilled that you and DH and DS have something lovely you can go out and do together
